March 2010

Re-registration Forms

• Please return the re-registration form no later than March 15^th.  There will be a late fee of an additional fifty dollars for re-registration after March 15^th.
• All complete re-registrations will be entered in a drawing for  $500.00 off  tuition for the ‘10-‘11 school year.
• Please call the school office if you will not be returning to ASCS.

Financial Aid

Please ask for a financial aid form in the office.  In order to qualify for financial aid the form must be received by Private School Aid by April 15^th. We cannot consider a family for financial aid unless this form is completed on time.

Kindergarten Registration

• We have openings in our kindergarten for the 2010-2011 school year. If you know of any interested families please ask them to call the office for an appointment and a tour.
• Most of our prospective families come from the recommendation of current families so Thank You!!
• Just a reminder about our referral program.  If you encourage a family to register at ASCS and we accept a student into grades 1-8 you will receive $500.00 credit towards your tuition next year.

Harlem Wizards

On Tuesday, March 2^nd at 6:30 we will be having a fantastic family fun night.

     Many students, parents and faculty will also play in the game. Mr. and Mrs. Caneveri have done a great job organizing this event.  A big thank you to them for their hard work. Tickets are available in the school office.

20^th Anniversary ASCS Gala

Tickets are available in the office for our Gala which will be held at the Norwalk Motor Inn on Saturday, March 27^th  .  In addition to a great selection of silent auction items there will also be live auction items.

Some of the items for auction include:

• Trip to Bermuda
• Trip to Bahamas
• Yankee and Red Sox Tickets
• Shorehaven Golf

Ø  Stop in to see the spectacular class themed auction items

Ø  There will also be affordable items such as the $20.00 grab bags

Thank you to all who have donated items or placed an ad for the gala.

Book Fair

 The Scholastic book fair will be held in the All Saints Gym from Monday, March 8^th through Friday, March 12^th.

• Hours are from 7:30am to 2:30pm Monday, Tuesday and Thursday.
• Wednesday from 7:30am- 1:00pm and from 7:30am until noon on Friday.
• There are additional evening hours on Wednesday, March 10^th from 6:00- 8:00pm including Pajama Storytime at 6:30pm in the Gym.   
• Teachers will again choose Classroom Wish books and we will offer the charity program called One for Books.

Reminders

• Candy Money is due.
• Please make sure students are on time for school.  They need to be in the classroom with books ready by 7:50am.
• All tuition must be paid by the end of March

Snow

In the event of bad weather, please listen to the radio 1350AM or watch Channel 12 News. You also may call 854-4123.

School Mass

We will be having a school mass on Tuesday, March 16^th at 10:00am.  We welcome all parents to attend.

Thank You

• To Mrs. Furgiuele and Mrs. Rohr   for all of their hard work on the candy sale.  Thank you also to the parents who sold the candy to raise funds for the school. We appreciate all that you do for us.
• To all the moms and dads who help us with lunch and library.  You are wonderful!

Basketball

A very big thank you to Wally Hurd for all of his hard work in organizing our basketball program this year.  He put in many long hours so that our children could enjoy this program.  Also thank you to all of the parents who coached teams or helped with the program.  We are blessed to have such wonderful parents!
